Understanding self-harm
Written & delivered by people with lived/living experience

We offer honest, real, in depth training that makes an impact written and delivered by people with lived/living experience.

Training objectives:
To provide deep insights into self-harm resulting in better understanding and becoming better equipped to support someone who self-harms.

Whether you're a mental health professional, GP, job coach, support worker or helpline volunteer, this fully interactive workshop will give you the knowledge and practical skills you need to support people of any age who self-harm.
"Very open discussion. Increased confidence on where to signpost if someone is asking for longer term support with self-harm. I felt engaged throughout the session"
Our self-harm training is written and delivered by people with lived/living experience. Over the last 7 years we've trained thousands of professionals taking feedback and questions on board, frequently reviewing the material to ensure it remains fresh and relevant. All our training is tailored to the delegates' needs thanks to the trainer's experience and wealth of knowledge.

I certainly feel more confident now about supporting someone who self-harms."

"Really good session, informal and comfortable, plenty of opportunity to ask questions, staff and volunteers very open and approachable"
Certificates of attendance are issued. Our training is not CPD accredited because it's too specialised, bespoke and unique. This training is not about ticking a box, it's about developing the right tools to support someone who self-harms.
