Daytime & evening face-to-face support groups for adults

Our Face-to-Face Peer Support Groups
You don’t need to live in Leeds to attend — if you can get to us, you’re welcome!

If you’re looking for a friendly, relaxed group where you can be yourself without judgment, pressure, or expectations, our face-to-face peer support groups could be just what you need. Here, you’ll be among people who understand.
Easy to Join – No Barriers
  • No referral, no booking, no waiting list
  • No postcode restrictions
  • No time limits — come for as long as you want
  • No obligation — attend when you can or need to
  • Instant access: just turn up
  • Bring a friend, family member, or support worker (over 18) — they’ll be included too

What We Offer
  • A safe, understanding space to connect and relax
  • The option to attend any or all of our groups
  • Access to multiple Battle Scars services at the same time (face-to-face, virtual, and online)
  • Short 1-to-1s available at our evening groups
  • Longer 1-to-1s at our daytime group
  • Social time before and after our daytime group — stay for the whole session or just drop in

Want a chat with someone before attending? Refer yourself to our FRESH service to speak to a peer worker who understands self-harm.
