Face-to-face support groups in Leeds (18+)
You do not have to be a Leeds resident to access our face-to-face groups -
if you can get to them, you can attend them!
Notices:
New start, new feel! Major team changes in both groups
Frequency of groups will change in January 2024 to every 2 weeks
More groups in our new premises in the new year
If you're looking for a friendly, relaxed group where you can be yourself without judgement or pressure to share, to be amongst people who understand, our face-to-face peer support groups could be exactly what you need.
We currently run two F2F groups in Leeds (see below for locations, dates & times). The groups meet every four weeks and are ongoing. No referral is required, just turn up. There is no limit to how many groups you can attend and you can even combine attending these with our virtual groups. |
|
In order to keep the group, its members and the facilitators safe, we have facilitator teams of 4 (even though not everybody will be there every time). If you need to have a private chat with a facilitator, there will be opportunities during the break or at the end. Our facilitators are highly trained but please remember, they are peers, people like you who are affected by self-harm. If you're in crisis, they may only be able to signpost or ring the Crisis team or an ambulance for you.
Please see slideshow below for more information about these groups or contact us for more information. |

"It's been amazing being back to f2f groups to see people and mix and share stories. Being a part of Battle Scars helps my mental health, helps my self-harm, also helps me understand and accept my self-harm" |
"Even if I don't attend groups for a while, I still know that the support is always available.
I'm always welcome back by friendly faces"
