The Battle Scars premises
With the support of the building owners (MunroeK), the NHS and other partners we set up the Onward Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub which opened its doors on July 18, 2024. This 1919 building is modernised inside, wheelchair accessible (downstairs only until lift is repaired), easily accessible by bus and train (the new train station at the White Rose shopping centre) as well as a very short drive from the motorway with 40 private parking spaces and a fenced garden at the front.
The hub now houses the new Battle Scars premises with a wide range of face-to-face services, such as peer support groups (with a separate group for over 50s), activity sessions (craft, games etc.), support for parents, training, events etc.
We also have three rooms for day hire:

- a meeting room for up to 26 (depending on layout)
- an events room for up to 100 (theatre style)
- a meeting room for up to 15 (only available Monday-Wednesday and every other Friday)
