Online adult peer support groups (using Zoom)
"Standard" (UK-wide), "Inbetweeners" (UK-wide) and "Creative" (Leeds ONLY)

Self-harm peer support groups (standard) UK-wide:
We are running groups on different days and at different times, currently on Tuesday morning (11.30 am), Friday afternoon (1 pm) and Monday evening (6.30 pm), each group runs every 2 weeks. These groups may be more suitable for people who frequently struggle with self-harm (incl. eating disorders).

Self-harm peer support groups (Inbetweeners) UK-wide:
If you struggle with urges but either do not act on them or only rarely self-harm, need a "lighter touch" sort of support, or wish to avoid the possibility of being triggered by holding discussions with people who use self-harm more, the "Inbetweeners" peer support group is also an option. This group will start on Thursday 1 October 2020 at 6.30 pm and run every 2 weeks.

Do Something Different mental health peer support group, Leeds only:
Joint group run by Battle Scars and Mentally Healthy Leeds every 4 weeks at 6.30 pm. A mix of various easy-to-do activities and discussion exploring the issues of mental health. Click on poster for PDF version. Registration is essential for this group. Please register by using this form.
If you've attended before please email  Belindas@touchstonesupport.org.uk  to book.

Please select which group(s) you are interested in by filling in the form below.
There are no restrictions for people who wish to use a variety of groups. We understand that support needs vary and change. You can switch between them or access multiple ones as and when you need them/want to.

"Groups are well run but relaxed. I’ve felt able to talk not only about my SH but also about other aspects of my mental health without judgement.
Groups are capped to 12 (including 2 facilitators) and booking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Invites are sent out 2-3 days before each group.  If you'd like to check either the standard or Inbetweeners group out as a professional, please contact us.
We're using Zoom which is free to use and all groups are one hour long.  Using the camera is optional.

If you're interested in these groups - whether you've attended Battle Scars before or not - please fill in the short form below. In order to keep numbers manageable, only people who have registered their interest get the invites to the standard and Inbetweeners groups.
"The advice I was given has all been so amazing and has helped me to come out of my shell and speak at groups and even say out loud about my eating disorder"
