Become a trustee
|
We’re looking for one trustee with lived experience of self-harm who wants to help shape a charity that truly understands and supports people who struggle with it. Battle Scars is a small, survivor-led charity making a big impact across the UK. Our trustees guide our work and help ensure we grow in sustainable, creative, and effective ways. We are looking for one person with long working experience in the corporate sector, preferably at a managerial level, with marketing or HR skills including responsibility for staff wellbeing. |

What's involved? * Attend trustee meetings every 6-8 weeks on a Tuesday (in person at our premises in South Leeds) - some prep work required * Provide insight, ideas and oversight into charity growth * Help with specific areas like marketing, funding or strategy (as per your skillset) * Support our values and amplify our voice * Get involved with other charity business depending on your interests and availability No previous trustee or board experience is required. |
