What is autism?

​Why is self-harm common amongst autistic people?
​We offer honest, unique, real, in depth training that makes an impact, written and delivered by people with lived experience of autism, mental ill health and self-harm.
​
This interactive workshop is 3.5 hours long
​Training objectives:
  • Understand autism and how it varies from person to person
  • Understand why autistic people are more likely to struggle with their mental health and self-harm
  • Understand how autism affects people
  • Gain confidence in recognise autistic behaviours and how to support an autistic individual in a person-centred, holistic, trauma-informed way

  • Managing sensory overload

  • Face-to-face at our training room in South Leeds: £500 + half-price room hire & drinks T&C: payment by invoice
  • Face-to-face at a venue of your choice - £500 + travel costs. T&C: If travel time required is more than 1 hour there is a surcharge of £50. Payment by invoice
